Art of becoming #35

Surround yourself with people who have done what you want to do.

It’s often so much easier to do things alone. You can do things how and when you want to. You can quickly make decisions and implement them. That’s great and very effective.

BUT often we need others to help and support us. We need input to learn and grow. Take a different approach. See the mountain from the other side to gain a fresh perspective.

We are so inside our own lives and businesses we don’t see the wood for the trees. Someone else can easily give me good advice when I allow my inner circle to speak into my life.

My inner circle is those I intentionally choose. They are people I know and trust. They are not any random person on social media or the one commenting on my posts. I’ve built a relationship with my inner circle and they are paving the way for me to get to where they are.

We are social beings. I am not an island. Even when our circles are small, it’s okay. As long as it’s quality not quantity. As long as they are people of character making me a better version of myself. They inspire and influence me without even knowing. Their life speaks louder then what they advocate.

Those are the ones I want to surround myself with.

I am saying relationships are super important. BUT the right ones. You will know when it’s the right one in the specific season of your life.

Have a great week.
